2023 BMW 3 Series

Now in its 7th generation, the 3 Series receives a facelift for 2023.

The BMW 3 Series is the benchmark for every sports sedan out there, and with more than 45 years of global success, the 3 Series also embodies the heart of the BMW brand. Launching in July 2022, the 2023 BMW 3 Series will continue the story of the 3 Series with greater appeal than ever.

For 2023, three drivetrains remain. The 2-liter TwinPower Turbo 4-cylinder in the 330i is powerful and fuel-efficient. The 330e plug-in hybrid is the drivetrain for drivers who want zero emissions and an engaging driving experience. And in the M340i, the 3-liter TwinPower Turbo inline-6 with its 48V mild-hybrid technology delivers an efficient drive with explosive power delivery. The 48v starter-generator acts as an electric drive boosting the engine for a more sharper response off the line. All drivetrains are equipped with the 8-Speed Steptronic Automatic transmission, and xDrive is an option for all three drivetrains.

The exterior now features a sporty design as standard. Dynamic lines, a larger air intake, and crisp surfaces adorn the front of the 3 Series. The redesigned headlights and kidney grille also give a powerful presence. At the rear, the slim taillights and flared wheel arches give the 3 Series a wider and muscular rear stance. For the M340i, the kidney grille gets a mesh design, trapezoidal tailpipes, and an M rear spoiler painted in body color.

The 2023 3 Series also receives an update in the interior, featuring iDrive 8. In addition, everything is easier to access, more intuitive, and beautiful to use thanks to the BMW Curved Display that spans 14.9 inches. The redesigned graphics give it a smartphone-like appearance, and it can be customized based on the driving situation or personal preferences. Furthermore, standard on the 2023 3 Series is the cloud-based BMW Maps, enabling fast and dynamic route calculation based on real-time traffic data.
