2023 BMW M2

Building on a winning formula, the second generation of the BMW M2 brings a classic high-performance sports car with fresh intensity and cutting-edge technology!

Under the hood is the BMW S58 engine, a twin-turbo inline-six-cylinder engine that makes 453hp and 406 lb-ft of torque. The engine is paired with the standard 6-speed manual gearbox or option in the 8-speed M Steptronic automatic transmission with Drivelogic. That power is sent to the rear wheels for a tried and true classic high-performance sports car driving experience.

On the exterior, BMW M took the 2 Series and sculpted in athletic proportions, giving it a wide and muscular stance. The grille takes a classic approach by sticking with a wide and frameless twin-kidney grille, and it’s optimized to cool the powertrain and brakes. The rear is also muscular, and the diffuser insert is an air-directing piece that dopts a minimalist and racing look while incorporating the signature M quad tailpipes. Finally, the M2 has five paint options: Alpine White, Black Sapphire metallic, Brooklyn Grey metallic, Toronto Red metallic, and the new Zandvoort Blue, which is exclusive to the new M2.

Inside, the M2 is equipped with the latest BMW Curved Display with iDrive8 and M-specific functions. For example, the standard M Drive Professional is configured through iDrive 8, giving you access to features like the Drift Analyzer or the 10-position M Traction Control. Vernasca Leather and heated M Sport seats are also standard on the M2, but the M Carbon bucket seats are available as an option.
